Getting To Leuven

Plane
  • We recommend flying to Brussels Airport. From there, you can take a 15-minute train ride to Leuven!
  • Alternatively, you can fly to Charleroi Airport (Brussels South). There is a bus service every 20 minutes from Flibco to Brussels-Midi/Zuid Station (takes ~1 hour), from where you can take a train to Leuven (~30 minutes).
⚠ Charleroi airport is usually cheaper, but be prepared for additional travel time and expenses!
Car
  • If you come by car, you can park it at the Venue.
  • The Venue is located just at the limit of the paying parking zone of Leuven, so be mindful of the parking signs in the neighborhood!
Train
  • Leuven's train station is well-connected to Brussels-Midi/Zuid, which is the main arrival point for international trains.

More information can be found on the website of the city of Leuven!

Getting Around in Leuven

Leuven is a compact city where you can stroll from one end to the other in just 30 minutes! Generally, people prefer to get around on foot or by bike. While driving within the city center is feasible, it's not recommended due to the abundance of one-way streets and the city's circulation plan. Alternatively, there's a comprehensive bus network that can be efficiently navigated with Google Maps. However, if you're just looking to move around the central area, walking is the most convenient option!
